OUR MISSION
Resilience as a Strength
My work is driven by a simple belief: while we cannot always choose the change we face, we can choose how we respond to it. My mission is to help people and organisations embrace change, develop practical resilience and create environments where vulnerability is seen as a strength, not a weakness. I believe every challenge carries the potential for growth, and that resilience is not something you are born with – it is something you can learn, practise and build over time.

The Journey
For as long as I can remember, change hasn’t been something I’ve chosen – it’s been something I’ve had to learn to navigate. I was born with a condition called Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, which meant that from day one my life looked very different to what most people would call “normal”. I spent much of my childhood in and out of hospital and went through 33 operations before I was an adult. Eventually, I made the decision to become a double amputee – a life-changing choice that forced me to rethink what was possible, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
Growing up as a double amputee meant adapting at every stage of life. School, friendships, sport, work – nothing followed a straightforward path. I had to learn how to handle uncertainty, manage other people’s perceptions and keep moving forward when things felt unfair or overwhelming. Over time, I realised that resilience isn’t about being tough all the time; it’s about being honest about the struggle, asking for help when you need it and choosing to keep going anyway.
My professional life has been shaped by that same mindset. I’ve built a career in leadership and account management, working with organisations and teams in high-pressure environments. Alongside this, I achieved a Level 5 Coaching qualification with distinction, which gave me a deeper understanding of how people think, behave and grow – not in theory, but in real workplaces, with real pressures and real consequences. Speaking and coaching grew naturally out of these experiences.
The more I shared my story, the more I saw how universal the themes were: change, uncertainty, pressure, self-doubt, resilience and the need for honest conversations about mental health. Whether I’m working with corporate leaders, HR teams, students or frontline staff, my goal is the same – to make resilience feel practical, human and achievable.
What makes my work different is that it doesn’t come from a textbook. Everything I share has been tested in my own life and in the organisations I’ve worked with. I understand what it feels like to have your world change overnight, to question your identity and to rebuild your confidence from the ground up. That perspective allows me to connect with audiences who are facing their own versions of change – whether that’s restructuring, rapid growth, cultural shifts or personal challenges.
My talks are not simply about overcoming adversity. They are about giving people tools, language and perspective they can use long after the session ends – to support themselves, to support others and to create cultures where resilience, vulnerability and performance can sit side by side.
